The Victorian Curriculum F–10 sets out what every student should learn during their first eleven years of schooling. The curriculum is the common set of knowledge and skills required by students for life-long learning, social development and active and informed citizenship.

ADPS is committed to providing a comprehensive curriculum.

The core disciplines of English and Mathematics are delivered daily, and students explore specialist curriculum including STEAM (Science – Technology – Engineering – Arts – Mathematics), Languages (Japanese) and Physical Education / Music throughout the week.

The curriculum sets out what students are expected to learn and is designed as a continuum of learning. The curriculum is presented in a scope and sequence chart to support teachers to easily see the progression and assist in planning teaching and learning programs to meet the diverse needs of students.

These charts include the content descriptions and achievement standards. It is advised that these charts are read in conjunction with the introductory materials and the level/band descriptions in the curriculum
