Leaders Congress

Seven of our Year 6 student leaders took part in this year’s Student Leaders Congress at Deakin University, for a day of inspiration.

 

Students listened to some amazing guest speakers, including Dale Sidebottom and Paul Campbell (The School of Play), Tom Richardson (Find Your Voice Collective), Matty Stewart (Standing Tall) and Paul Watkins.

The theme of the day was all about what does it mean to be a leader in my community, through a mental health and well-being lens. The students had an awesome time at the congress (as you can see), and are busily planning and working on creating some projects and initiatives to implement at our school.
