STEAM Challenge

In STEAM, Foundation and Foundation/One students were challenged to design and create an umbrella that keeps you dry when it’s raining.

They drew their labelled diagram on the iPad then used a cardboard tube, straws, and either plastic or bubble wrap, to create their umbrella.

Mr Allen took great delight in helping test the durability of their umbrellas by sprinkling ’rain’ over the students…there were lots of laughs and squeals of delight.
